Our School Trip to Cape Kidnappers

On Tuesday (18th March) we went on a school trip to Cape Kidnappers to see the Gannets and the beautiful landscape that surrounds our beautiful region.

We had an amazing time cruising down the beach front on the back of the tractors, looking up at the cliff sides and learning about how they have been changed and sculpted over the years. We even managed to fit in our weekly fitness with a pretty enduring walk up the hill to where the Gannets rest. What an amazing sight it was to see so many birds perching so peacefully together. The view from the top wasn't bad either! A great reminder of what a beautiful region we belong to and what incredible places we have in our backyards!

Thank you Mrs Wilson for organising such a great school trip! Thank you also to our tour guides for the day, and to our wonderful parent helpers of whom we couldnt offer such opportunities without!

We are busy writing some wonderful recounts about our trip in class and once these are published we will send them home to share with our whanau.

Until then, enjoy some of our pictures from day...
